Dublin

Start your journey in Dublin's old town, the so-called Temple Bar district. Here you will find charming alleys, cobbled streets and traditional pubs where you can enjoy live Irish music and a Guinness. Also visit Trinity College, one of the most prestigious universities in the world, and admire the famous Book of Kells, an ornate manuscript dating back to the 9th century.

Move on to the impressive Dublin Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Take a guided tour and climb the tower for breathtaking views over the city.

Dublin is also rich in culture and literature. Visit the excellent Dublin Writer's Museum to learn more about famous Irish authors such as James Joyce and Oscar Wilde. And don't forget to visit the Guinness Storehouse, where you can learn all about Ireland's most famous beer.

For nature lovers, there is the beautiful Phoenix Park, one of the largest inner-city parks in Europe. Take a bike ride in the park or watch the impressive free-roaming deer.

Dublin is also a great base for exploring the stunning Irish countryside. Take a day trip to the impressive Cliffs of Moher or visit the picturesque coastal town of Howth.
