General questions

How can I book a parking space?

Bookings can only be made online via our booking platform. It is not possible to book by telephone.

Can I park without an online booking?

In car park P2 or car park P3, a ticket can be taken upon entry. You can see available parking spaces on site in our car park guidance system. The ticket must be validated at the pay machine before you leave the car park. Our current parking rates upon entry on site apply. 

Can I cancel a booking?

This depends on the product booked. For products that can be cancelled, the cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before the booked entry time. For booked flexible tariffs, the cancellation must be made at least 6 hours before the booked entry time. Depending on the product, a cancellation fee may apply. The parking fee already paid will be refunded minus the cancellation fee. Cancellations are only possible via our booking platform. 

Can I also book by telephone? 

No, parking space bookings can only be made online.  

Can I book a parking space at a travel agency? 

Your travel agency can make the online parking space booking for you if you wish. Please enquire at your travel agency, for example in our "Reisemarkt" in the terminal.

Which car parks can be booked? 

Different parking products are offered in different car parks depending on the season. The available car park products are displayed depending on the travel period. 

Why is the car park I want not bookable during my trip? 

Depending on the season, different car park products are offered, which can be booked via our booking platform. A fixed number of parking spaces is available for each product. If a car park is not available during your trip or the quota is already fully booked, no parking space can be booked. 

Will I be allocated a fixed parking space? 

No, you are guaranteed a free parking space within your booked car park. Any free parking space can be used. 

What happens if I let a booking lapse? 

The car park fee will not be refunded. 

What happens if I forgot my password? 

In this case, you can use the ‘Forgot password’ function to have a new password sent to the e-mail address stored in your customer account. 

How can I use a promotional code when booking? 

There are discount promotions. Please enter the promotional code in the ‘Voucher code’ field when booking. 

Are there disabled parking spaces and discounts for parking?

Yes, please note our information on barrier-free parking (german version. English version coming soon).

What is the maximum entry height in the car parks? 

2,10 m. If your vehicle is higher, please call our car park service on +49 911 937 1313. 

Who can I contact if I have any questions? 

The car park service team is there for you around the clock on +49 911 937 1313 or by e-mail at onlineparken@airport-nuernberg.de.If you have any questions during entry or exit, please press the call button directly at the entry or exit pillar.

Questions about booking and payment

How much does the parking space cost?

After selecting the travel period, the available car park products including the car park prices are displayed on our booking platform.

How do I pay for the parking space?

You can choose between various payment options (e.g. credit card or instant bank transfer). The parking fee is debited directly after booking the parking space on our booking platform. A bank transfer is not necessary or possible.

Can I book a parking space at short notice?

Yes, the booking must be made at least 6 hours before the desired entry time.

Will I receive a confirmation/receipt of the booking?

Yes, after booking you will receive a booking confirmation directly to the e-mail address stored in your customer account. This is also your receipt. Please keep this booking confirmation or receipt with you for the duration of the parking process.

What happens if I park for longer than I have booked?

If you exceed the booked parking time, you will have to pay the applicable additional charge. This is €15 per day. Please go to the pay machine and pay the additional charge. The late payment fee must be paid at the end of the grace period.

What do I have to do if I want to park with a motorhome?

In this case, please call the car park service on +49 911 937 1313, who will explain the procedure to you.

Can I rebook my booked parking space?

Yes, rebooking is possible via our booking platform. Depending on the product, a rebooking fee may apply. If the rebooking results in a price difference, this will either be credited to your account or charged subsequently. Rebookings can be made up to a maximum of 24 hours before the planned departure. For booked flexible tariffs, the rebooking must be made at least 6 hours before the booked entry time. 

Questions about the entry

How do I enter the car park?

Please use the QR code on the entrance pillars and keep it in a safe place afterwards. You will also need this for the exit. Please do not take a manual ticket!

What happens if I have taken a manual parking ticket at the entrance?

If you have taken a manual parking ticket, please exit the car park immediately with this ticket free of charge. Then drive back to the entrance and use your QR code.

What happens if I drive into a car park that differs from my booking?

Please only drive into the car park you have booked. If you drive into a different car park by mistake, drive straight back to the exit barrier as soon as possible and drive out free of charge. Then drive to the car park you have booked and use the QR code.

What happens if I want to drive in BEFORE the booked arrival time?

You can drive into the reserved car park free of charge 4 hours before your planned arrival time. If you arrive earlier, please rebook the parking space. You can make rebookings up to a maximum of 24 hours, or 6 hours for flexible products, before the planned arrival time.

What happens if I want to drive in AFTER the booked arrival time?

Entering the car park after the booked entry time is not a problem and even works until the booked exit time.

What do I do if the car park is full?

If a car park has been booked, it is guaranteed to be available. Even if the car park is full, access will be possible with the specified QR code.

What can I do if I forgot my QR code?

If you do not have the QR code to hand, please contact our car park service team by pressing the call button on the barrier, who can then activate the booking manually.

What can I do if I have a problem entering the car park?

If you have a problem at the barrier, please press the call button. You will then be connected to the operations centre. The staff are available 24 hours a day. If someone does not contact you immediately via the call centre, please be patient.

Questions about the exit

How do I exit the car park?

Please drive your vehicle directly to the exit and use the QR code that you used to enter the car park.

Do I have to go to the pay machine before exiting?

This is only necessary if an additional payment is required. This occurs if the grace period has been exceeded.

What happens if I park for longer than I have booked a parking space?

If the booked parking period is exceeded, the applicable additional payment rate must be paid. This is €15 per day. Please go to the pay machine to make the additional payment. The additional payment must be paid after the grace period (4 hours) has expired.

Can I drive in and out of the car park several times during the booked parking period?

No, the booking only entitles you to enter and exit the car park once.

Is there a refund if I leave the car park earlier than booked?

No, there is no refund.

What can I do if I have a problem at the exit?

If you have a problem at the barrier, please press the call button. You will then be connected to the operations centre. The staff are available 24 hours a day. If someone does not contact you immediately via the call centre, please be patient.
